University of Minnesota named “Top Producer” of English language specialists

The University of Minnesota was named the “Top Producer” of English language specialists in 2023 by the U.S. Department of State/English Language Programs at the TESOL International Convention, which took place March 21 to 23 in Tampa, Florida. Two of the three English language specialists from the U are in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction: Professor and Carmen Starkson Campbell Endowed Chair for Innovation in Teacher Development Martha Bigelow and PhD candidate Catherine Clements. The third is Stephanie Hanson in the College of Continuing and Professional Studies.
