MEd and teaching license programs

Become a Teacher

The accelerated Master of Education and Teaching License program will allow you to complete all the required coursework and teaching hours to become a teacher in your field of choice in just 12-15 months. Our intensive program is rooted in educational equity, inclusive pedagogy, theory and practice. You will graduate ready to earn your license and step into your own classroom in the following areas:

Earn your license to teach PreK-12 visual arts, dance, or theatre arts in just over a year. Our accelerated program will prepare you to step into your classroom with confidence and solid classroom experience

This pathway is designed for non-licensed Reading Corps members with bachelor’s degrees who are interested in earning a master’s degree and license in K-6 elementary education.

MA programs

Become an educational leader, faculty researcher, or education specialist 

Start on the path to becoming a faculty member, educational specialist, administrator, or researcher with an advanced degree. Delve deep into the area of education you are passionate about to ask questions and find answers through your own research agenda. The MA programs are less intensive than the doctoral programs, but are still rigorous explorations of educational research that cover a wide range of research methodologies.
