Ngo recognized for early career contributions in education research
The American Educational Research Association’s (AERA) Committee on Scholars of Color in Education (CSCE) has named Bic Ngo, assistant professor of culture and teaching (Department of Curriculum and Instruction), as a recipient of the 2011 Early Career Contribution Award. This award recognizes early career scholars who have made significant contributions to the understanding of issues that disproportionately affect ethnic and social minority populations through rigorous scholarship and research. The award will be presented during AERA’s annual meeting in New Orleans, April 8-10, 2011.
