Dr. Betsy Maloney Leaf Receives MDE Grant for Mentorship of Early Career Theatre and Dance Teachers

Dr. Betsy Maloney Leaf has been awarded a Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) grant of $7,943,000, to provide teacher mentorship to theatre and dance early career teachers.  Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) makes funding available to Minnesota regional partners, including institutions of higher education for the purpose of providing mentoring support for new teachers, on-the-ground training, technical assistance, and networks or communities of practice for local, new teachers, districts, and charter schools in order to implement Minnesota’s induction model to support and retain new teachers in Minnesota.
