CEHD Faculty Recognition Awards 2024

On Wednesday, September 25, CEHD faculty were honored at the annual CEHD Faculty Recognition Ceremony. Among the awardees were two faculty members from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction:

  • George Veletsianos, PhD., Professor of Learning Technologies, was awarded the Bonnie Westby Huebner Endowed Chair in Education and Technology.
  • Crystal Wise, PhD., Assistant Professor of Elementary Literacy Education, received the Lindahl Leadership Faculty Fellow award.

Previous award recipients from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction include:

  • Cassie Scharber, PhD., Bonnie Westby Huebner Endowed Chair in Education and Technology, Associate Professor
  • Marek Oziewicz, PhD., Sidney and Marguerite Henry Professor of Children's and Young Adult Literature
  • Martha Bigelow, PhD.,Carmen Starkson Campbell Endowed Chair for Innovation in Teacher Development
  • Bic Ngo, PhD., Rodney S. Wallace Professor for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning
