Bic Ngo receives $3.25 million grant for Project EngagED

Bic Ngo, Ph.D, Rodney S. Wallace Professor for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction's culture and teaching program, was awarded $3.25 million across five years for Project EngagED, designed to increase well-prepared teachers from underrepresented backgrounds. The project is funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Augustus F. Hawkins Centers of Excellence Program. Co-Investigators on the project are Senior Lecturer Jana Lo Bello Miller, Ph.D., and Lecturer Abby Rombalski, Ph.D., both from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
